On December the 15th 2007, Havana Cultura Web TV www.havana-cultura.com was granted the Cyber Crystal Grand Prize for culture/ entertainment at the Meribel Ad Festival, a key-meeting for the French and European professionals of Communications. The prize distinguishes the singularity of the site, which offers Internet Users an outstanding expedition in Cuban art.

• OPEN A WINDOW ON THE BUBBLING CULTURE OF HAVANA
In a festive musical ambiance, the site is an oper to Cuban art. It wishes to go beyond the stereotypes on Cuba, to uncover the cultural depth of a dynamic city and share the passion and energy of its artists. Each year, a TV production team, photographers, journalists and Communication experts, travel to Havana. They develop the content of the Web TV, which allows the Internet User to dive into the every day life of Cuban artists and discover the passion of the young musicians, sculptors, stylists, writers and dancers living in Havana.

• SHAKE EXISTING VIDEO WEB CODES

Three communications and Web experts (M&C Saatchi GAD, 3MD Studio and Program33*) have joined their skills to develop a new generation of Web Site. The resulted site takes interactivity to a next generation, by using wide screen videos, to free pictures from any useless text and graphic frames. Surfing is made easier and fun. An RSS stream allows the Internet user to maintain a permanent contact with the artists of Havana : Harold Lopez Nussa, Kumar, Obsession, Yissy, or X Alfonso.

• THE MECENE OF CUBAN CULTURE

With great simplicity, the rum brand Havana Club has sponsored the Havana Cultura Web TV thereby giving the best of new technologies to the talented artists of Havana. Havana-cultura.com already exists in Spanish and English versions. The site will soon be available in Greek and Russian. 2008 will of course revels new artists, through videos, music, and exclusive interviews.
